Terms of Use

Effective [DATE]  ·  Last updated [DATE]

These terms govern your use of eraone.ca. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

These terms cover the website. Staffing work is governed by a separate written services agreement, and employment by a separate employment agreement. Where those documents conflict with these terms, those documents govern.

1. About us

eraone.ca is operated by EraOne Business Solutions Inc., a corporation registered in Ontario, Canada, with its principal place of business in Toronto, Ontario. Contact: [email protected], (437) 601-0175.

2. Using the site

You may use the site for lawful purposes related to considering, requesting, or providing event staffing services. You agree not to:

3. Inquiries and quotes are not contracts

Submitting a form does not create a contract, reserve staff, or oblige us to provide services. Any estimate, rate, or quote we provide is an invitation to negotiate, not a binding offer, and remains subject to availability, event scope, and a signed services agreement. We are bound only once both parties sign a written agreement.

4. Roster applications create no employment relationship

Submitting a roster application does not create an employment relationship, an offer of employment, a guarantee of shifts, or any expectation of work. We are under no obligation to respond to, retain, or act on any application. Any employment relationship arises only under a separate signed employment agreement, and is governed by that agreement and by the Employment Standards Act, 2000.

5. Our content

All content on this site — text, graphics, logos, the EraOne name and marks, photographs, layout, and code — is owned by EraOne or used under licence, and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for your own non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the site without our prior written permission.

6. Third-party names and marks

Any third-party names, marks, or event references appearing on this site remain the property of their respective owners and are used to describe work performed. Their appearance does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or an ongoing relationship unless expressly stated.

7. Anything you send us

Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy. If you send us any non-personal material — suggestions, ideas, feedback, or comments — you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use it without restriction, acknowledgement, or compensation. Do not send us confidential material you do not want used on that basis.

8. Accuracy and availability

We work to keep the site accurate and current, but content is provided for general information and may contain errors or become out of date. Statistics, case references, and descriptions of past work reflect our records at the time of publication. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time without notice.

9. Third-party links

The site may link to third-party websites and social media. We do not control them, do not endorse their content, and are not responsible for them. Your use of a linked site is governed by that site's own terms and privacy policy.

10. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EraOne and its directors, officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the site, however caused and on any theory of liability.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the site is limited to CAD $100.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EraOne and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

13. Accessibility

We are committed to making this site usable by everyone. See our Accessibility page for our commitment and how to request content in an accessible format or give us feedback.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, subject to any non-waivable rights you have under consumer protection law in your own jurisdiction.

15. General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. We may update these terms at any time; the effective date above shows when they last changed, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
